LimeWash Paint or Marmorino + Lime

Two lime-based Nikkolor wall finishes compared: composition, application, pack range, colour, coverage information, protection and quote-only status.

G-02 Lime compared

Both are natural-lime finishes for walls and ceilings, and both are priced by quotation in Australia. One is a brushed mineral paint, the other a trowelled decorative plaster. The difference shows in the surface, the tools and the finishing cycle.

Choose LimeWash Paint when

  • You want a brushed, matte wall with visible mottling rather than a plaster build.
  • The substrate is a compatible lime or lime-cement plaster, or a prepared interior wall.
  • Ceilings and large plain walls need softness without trowel work.

Choose Marmorino + Lime when

  • You want a trowelled plaster surface with the character of Italian Marmorino.
  • Decorative volumes, feature walls or hospitality interiors need a denser finish.
  • You want to choose the final appearance through the protective treatment as well as colour.

Shared constraints

  • Neither is a floor coating, microcement system or waterproofing membrane.
  • Exterior use is for protected walls on suitable substrates after project assessment.
  • Microcement toner doses are not applied automatically. The colour formula is confirmed for the product and pack.
  • Neither product is priced through the microcement estimator. Pack availability, freight and lead time are confirmed with the quotation, and no payment is taken on this website.

Prices are AUD catalogue estimates, not quotations. Freight, tools, labour and substrate work are extra. Confirm the current technical data sheets and a physical sample before specifying.
