Enquire about this workshopThe curriculum
Safety, product and substrate inspection; preparation and substrate-specific mesh decisions; measured mixing and first coats on pre-primed practice stations.
Check that each stage is ready to proceed, apply second coats, practise three Cemento 3D effects, work through details and defects, then select protection and plan the next stage.
Practise sanding on eligible pre-cured panels, establish a clean sealing area, apply protection and cover care, estimating and handover. Complete practical and knowledge assessments.
Pre-primed and pre-cured duplicate panels allow practice of later stages without shortening the required primer, decorative-coat or protection waits. The workshop does not mean a fresh installation can be completed and handed over in three days.
Completion requires demonstration of every practical item, satisfactory knowledge explanations and safe decisions about when to stop and wait. Reassessment is recorded where needed.
A completion record is not manufacturer accreditation, a trade licence, a waterproofing qualification or unrestricted installer approval.
After the workshop
Completed Lux Cement trainees can apply for access to the existing trainee portal. Applications are checked against training records; attendance does not automatically grant access. Ask us about the approval pathway in your enquiry.
Product information, tools, safety documents and training videos to support substrate-specific planning.
Area-based material calculations and proportional water, additive and toner quantities for each batch.
Microcement batch control: TA, TB and TC use 2, 3 and 4 toner bottles per 20 kg respectively. These doses are not universal across product ranges.
Keep individual project records and track coat sequence, progress and material consumption.
Record completed learning and practical modules, with the scope of completion clearly documented.
Share project work and learn from other approved applicators. Technical access is reserved for approved participants.
Lux Academy’s advertised terms make change-of-mind bookings non-refundable, with one transfer to another available date when at least 48 hours’ notice is given. If Lux Cement cancels or reschedules, participants may transfer or receive a full refund. Australian Consumer Law rights are not excluded. Confirm the current terms before paying; an enquiry here does not reserve a place.
Tell us your experience, location and goals. Ask about the advertised workshop, future dates or access after completing training. We will confirm availability and next steps. This form does not take payment or secure a place.
